1. Ensure that your phone number is correct or updated in your Hashnest account to receive the verification code.
2. Make sure your telecom carrier is not blocking any SMS. Similar to email, some telecom carriers do have filter systems that can block text messages.
3. Turn on your Google authenticator in your account. This automatically sets Google authenticator as the default 2FA. So that in the case when your phone is not receiving SMS, you can still use Google authenticator to proceed.
If you are having trouble accessing your Hashnest account due to the SMS failure, please write in to us using “Submit a request” below for account recovery assistance. We recommend binding your account to another trusted phone number to receive SMS verification codes.
