As Hashnest is becoming more and more well-received, we realised that there are some people out there imitating us and sending phishing emails. Whether you are a user of Hashnest or not, if you receive a email or message claiming to be from Hashnest and asks for your account details or click on some links, it could be a scam. If you received such emails, do not reply or click on anything.
If you are a user of Hashnest, please make sure your account is secure by changing your password and enabling 2FA.
What are the 2FA options available and how to turn on 2FA?
We do not have the option of deleting account, however, we can lock it for you. So please keep your account safe and secure first if you do not intend to use it, then submit a request to let us know if you would like to have your account locked.
If you are not sure whether you have registered an account at Hashnest, you may contact us and our support team will do a quick check for you.
If you know that you are not a user of Hashnest and have not signed up for an account at Hashnest, we are very sorry for the implication, please ignore the phishing email and delete it immediately.
Nonetheless, if you receive what you believe to be a phishing email that is designed to look like it’s send by Hashnest, we encourage you to report to us by forwarding the message to support@hashnest.com. We will do our best to make sure you do not receive any more phishing emails.
