Announcement #52 StrongU U6 Delay Notice and Compensation

Dear Hashnest Users,

Thank you so much for waiting with us. We would like to express our regret that StrongU will once again delay the dispatch of U6, much to our dismay. Their new tentative dispatch date is 30 October 2019. 

There will be also be a significant change to the specifications of U6. The advertised specifications were 660 GH/s with a power consumption of 1450 W. Just today, we were told that U6 is only capable of computing using 2500 W of power. 

Due to these unfavourable reasons given by StrongU, Hashnest hereby offers the below options to users who have purchased StrongU U6:

1.  Exchange 1 unit of StrongU U6 to 2 units of Antminer S15. Hashrates will be credited within 24 hours of confirming the exchange.

2. Exchange 1 unit of U6 into partial hashrates of Antminer S17. Depending on your purchase amount per unit,
USD1599 order can be exchanged to 23 TH/s of S17
USD1699 order can be exchanged to 25 TH/s of S17
USD1999 order can be exchanged to 29 TH/s of S17

Hashrates will be credited in 10 days upon confirming your exchange.

Please send in your exchange request to support@hashnest.com or https://support.hashnest.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Please also advise us your account email, your order date and the number of units of StrongU U6 that you would like to exchange. 

3. Continue to wait for your StrongU U6 to be dispatched. There will be an additional 10% hashrates per unit ordered, making the total hashrates per unit to be 726 GH/s. These additional hashrates will be credited to your account the same time you receive your original U6 hashrates. 

All users who have bought StrongU U6 will be entitled to USD 50 coupon with a validity of 30 days as well.

We know that we have let you down, and we sincerely apologise that our decision to work with StrongU has led to nothing but mistrust, disappointment and grievance. We still appreciate your business with us, and we are determined to get this right.
